Membership Resources

Associate membership is limited to lot owners with property abutting Blythewood Drive and Appletree Point. Members are required to pay dues in January of each year. These fees primarily support maintenance and improvements of Blythewood Associates roadways.

Sewer Connections

Sewer service and access is governed by an agreement between the City of Pittsfield, Massachusetts and Blythewood Associates. New sewer connections are granted by the Blythewood Associates Board of Directors for its members. Further details are available in the links below.

Tree Removal

Removal of trees, dead or living on the road easement require approval of the Board of Directors. Tree removal from members property may require conservation commission approval if the tree resided in or near wetlands.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of seven people, elected to 3-year rotating terms at the annual meeting of the membership. The Board of Directors elects a Treasurer, Chair, Co-Chair, and Clerk at the first board meeting of the year. The board’s purpose is to run the day-to-day business of Blythewood Associates, Inc. and have general control and supervision of its assets. Directors’ meetings are held throughout the year.
